Massachusetts STEM Week
Massachusetts STEM Week takes place every year during the third week of October and is organized by the Executive Office of Education and the STEM Advisory Council in partnership with the state’s 9 Regional STEM Networks. It is a statewide effort to boost the interest, awareness and ability for all learners to envision themselves in STEM education and employment opportunities, and complement the formal instruction happening in the Commonwealth beyond STEM week.
WaterWORKS
WaterWORKS invites high school juniors and seniors to a half-day program at Cape Cod Community College to learn more about the region’s Blue Economy and the types of career opportunities it presents. The program includes all sectors that wish to participate, including traditional marine trades, marine science and technology, commercial fishing and aquaculture, and water-based recreation. Cape Cod Regional STEM Network plays a key role in bringing this event led by the Cape Cod Blue Economy Foundation.
