Teacher in Residence

The Cape Cod Regional STEM Network's Teacher in Residence Program connects local K-12 teachers to STEM non profits, industry and government. This initiative brings real-world science and technology into Cape Cod classrooms by embedding educators within STEM-rich institutions for immersive, two-week externships.

In 2017 and 2023, each participating teacher developed a classroom curriculum unit inspired by their externship and received coordination and financial support to bring their students on a field trip to the host site. This program continues to be recognized by our industry partners, teachers and school districts as a uniquely impactful opportunity for both teachers and students.

You can find these STEM curriculum units below to use in your classroom. More Coming Soon!
